The centre has implemented a range of measures to ensure the comfort and safety for all of its visitors.
These measures are in line with government guidelines and the Safe Charter of Failte Ireland.
All team members embody this charter on a daily basis and continue to provide a premium service for you to enjoy.
Planning your visit
We ask all visitors to book through our booking page and that families or groups remain together throughout their tour.
For your safety we do operate a contact tracing log and PPE is available upon request.

COVID19 Safety Statement
The Athenry Arts & Heritage Centre statement of general policy regarding COVID-19 is as follows:
To prioritise the health and well-being of both employees and customers/visitors to the Athenry Arts & Heritage Centre (AAHC).
To initiate robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) with the intention of protecting staff and visitors.
To provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from work at the AAHC.
To consult regularly with employees on matters affecting their health and safety.
To provide and maintain safe equipment and a safe physical environment in AAHC workplace.
To ensure safe handling and use of substances.
To provide information, instruction and supervision for employees and visitors.
To ensure all employees are competent to carry out their duties in line with COVID-19 protocol guidelines and give them adequate training to do so.
To protect workers and prevent accidents in the workplace while following SOP's.
To prevent illness in the workplace, particularly in relation to COVID-19.
To maintain safe and healthy working conditions, particularly in relation to COVID-19.
To review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.
