Parents have the choice to pay with Stripe or by PayPal.
Cancellations: The Athenry Arts & Heritage Centre can accept cancellations up to 24hrs before arrival however please note that refunds will take 7-10 days to be paid back and your booking fee from Stripe will still be deducted from your total ticket price.
COVID19 Safety Protocols
The centre has been certified in respect to Failte Ireland's COVID-19 Safety Charter.
We have created policies to ensure this event is well structured in compliance with Covid-19 guidance to include customer best practice, staff training, social distancing and cleaning protocols.
Please read all the pre-arrival information which is included on your booking registration and take time to read this statement to ensure you are fully aware of our procedures and requirements.
We are committed to keeping you healthy and safe, but we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID-19. We rely on you to protect yourselves and require that you:
- Sanitise hands often.
- Avoid touching your face.
- Maintain social distance on a minimum 2 meters from others.
- Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
- Keep within your social ‘bubble’ at all times.
- Carry a clean face covering
- If you or any member of your family / group feel unwell, please do not come to the Athenry Heritage Centre. Please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to reschedule your visit.
- Face coverings are mandatory during your visit. Governmental exceptions apply.
Please do not to come to the Athenry Arts & Heritage Centre if you or any of your party:
- have symptoms of cough, fever, high temperature, sore throat, runny nose, breathlessness, flu like symptoms or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste now or in the past 14 days;
- have been diagnosed with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 infection in the last 14 days;
- are a close contact of a person who is a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days;
- have been advised by a doctor to self-isolate;
- have you been advised by a doctor to cocoon; or
- begin to experience symptoms prior to arrival.
Athenry Arts & Heritage Centre Protocols
- All staff have completed extensive Covid-19 training including self-safety, client interactions and cleaning routines to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
- Completed Covid-19 training, First Aid and Children First Child Protection Training.
- Staff will practice social distancing (where possible).
- Staff wear face coverings.
Booking Online
- To avoid unnecessary contact all visitors must pre-book online via our website booking system before arriving www.athenryheritagecentre.com. Unfortunately, we cannot accept walk-in’s or add additional family members from original booking.
- Contact tracing will be made through your booking details.
- All adult visitors must show their Covid19 digital cert.
- Book within your social ‘bubble’ to ensure you maintain social distancing.

Arrival
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your booking time.
- We advise against bringing buggies or strollers to the event as there is limited space at the main entrance.
- All adult visitors must show their Covid19 digital cert
- Please use contactless payments for any additional payments.
- All other guests, must please wait in the outdoor area until called.
Cleaning
A regular cleaning routine is in place which includes reception area, toilets, touch points and areas of use (handles etc).
Sanitising stations are in place and will be topped up at regular intervals.
Standards
We have taken the latest national and industry advice from the HSE, Failte Ireland, National Governing bodies and fellow providers to help ensure our Covid-19 practices are as up to date and best industry standard as possible.
